Refill Your SPOOKY Victorian Pen
HOW TO USE YOUR VICTORIAN PEN
This pen uses standard Parker-style ink refills.
Turn the very end of the pen (the decorated part with the pearl on the end) clockwise to extend the ink, and turn it counterclockwise to retract it.
REPLACING THE INK IN YOUR VICTORIAN PEN
Unscrew the very tip of the pen and set it aside. NOTE: The decorated part near the tip of the pen is held in place ONLY by the tip of the pen! Be careful that you don’t lose it when you unscrew the tip.
Remove the ink cartridge and remove the spring. DO NOT discard the spring!
Slide the spring onto the new ink cartridge, then slide the ink cartridge into the main body of the pen. You may need to wiggle the cartridge gently until it slides all the way into the pen’s body.
Make sure the decorated part of the pen is on, then screw the tip of the pen over the exposed end of the ink cartridge until it is firm.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If the pen won’t turn, the ink won’t extend, or the ink won’t retract: remove the ink cartridge and spring, then replace the spring upside-down on the cartridge. This should fix most issues with the ink extending correctly.
If the ink extends too far out of the tip of the pen, unscrew the tip of the pen and gently wiggle the cartridge until it clicks a little deeper into the pen body. It should now extend and retract correctly.
